BIG GIRL BED
April 1st, 2007Joy is adjusting to her new bed. We moved her crib out last week and she helped her dad build the new twin “big girl bed”. I would never have thought this would be an easy transition which is why I was delighted and schocked that the first night went so well. After the usual bath and reading ritual she hopped right in and went to sleep like any other other night. It hasn’t exactly worked this way since. We are working on it though. The movie below shows her helping with the construction of the new bed. She was very focused and persistant. I started shooting a while after she started the job of moving the slats one by one by one to her chosen location.
