July 25th, 2007One of Joy’s favorite activities right now is coloring everybody’s finger and toe nails. She runs and gets her markers and insists on doing it…whether you are standing at the sink doing dishes or lounging on the couch. Sometimes she will run and get a pillow to prop your head and a stool to prop your feet. This endeavor is all her own. She made it up . We don’t paint fingers and toes around here. Maybe she saw it on tv but this is doubtful as she mostly watches Dragon Tails and Little Bear. Maybe hand and foot embellishments are instinctual…an aesthetic necessity.

We have been in Hermosa Beach visiting Nana. The San Francisco cousins also stayed at the house. There were aunts and uncles and cousins all over the place. Joy had the time of her life. So many pictures…so little time. Here is a slideshow!
